Rural Minnesota, known for its large amount of lakes and very chilly weather. Largely settled by Scandinavian and German immigrants, Lena retains a lot of their eating habits and quirks. Hunting, fishing (even when the lake is covered in ice) is something she will enjoy. Lena gives the impression of shyness but she's more than happy to help anyone in the blink of an eye, and oddly enough she won't expect much in turn. Most people call this "Minnesota nice" But for her? Its an attempt to get some acknowledgement.
Her accent gives the impression of someone who's backwoodsy and she has a schizophrenic taste in fashion. Some days she could be wearing a baggy knit grandma sweater with sweat pants, and other days she wears something cute and more her age. Lena has a bad habit of being old fashioned and frowns on her brother's "risque" attitude. New terms, trends, celebrities, and whatnot are all foreign for her...and she has a tendency to be 10 years behind everyone else. Though she is old fashioned, she's not afraid of being a bit of a tomboy. She can hunt the deer, gut it, clean it, clean the mess, and cook it up. She is also a huge fan of her sports teams, especially the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Wild.
All in all, she's a decent and mild mannered girl. Just don't get on her bad side, or she'll treat you like its open season.
